The Australian 4 Day Enduro (A4DE) was held in Orange NSW the week after Easter and First Class Motorcycles were brilliantly represented by 3 of their Race Team members, Jehi Willis, Danny McConville and Coby Willis.
With the heavens opening two days before the event started on the Thursday, conditions were looking great, but we needed a lot more rain than fell when you had 342 riders running over the same ground for four days.
The boys performed Brilliantly with Jehi Willis bringing home an Australian Championship on board his Husqvarna WR300 (The first Championship world wide for the Husqvarna WR300). First Class Motorcycles would like to thank Jehi for his amazing effort and deserving achievement, Well Done Jehi, Great Start to the Year.
Danny McConville, on a Yamaha YZ450F, was in the Premiere Class and up against some world class talent, eventual winner Jarred Bewley on a Yamaha and last years champ Chris Hollis on a Husqvarna to name a couple. Danny accounted for himself exceptionally well to get 33rd outright, 15th in class and an awesome ride in the final moto saw him finish in 10th place, well done Danny.
Coby struck the cruellest of on day one with a mechanical failure on his Husqvarna WR125. It’s easy to say after the event, but all being well, there would have been two Australian champions in the Willis household both riding for First Class Motorcycles. Coby put all his efforts into helping his team mates for the rest of the event and really showed what a fine young man he is and with his attitude, will go a long way in racing and his turn will definitely come. Thank you very much Coby for your awesome effort and great help.
Next race is the Australian Off-Road Championship in Blaney NSW followed by Round 2 of the Victorian Champs. If you find yourself looking for a race to watch, contact the Guys at First Class Motorcycles to find out what’s on. Might see you out there!
Thanks to Aidan McConville for all his efforts at the Event and for this report!
